Backed by the Horizon Europe programme, this ambitious, multi-country initiative is rethinking the role of Artificial Intelligence in education, not as a substitute for teachers, but as a powerful ally. In a time when digital transformation is accelerating, TAICo puts teachers at the centre of innovation, working to co-create ethical, practical, and empowering solutions for the use of AI that enhance, not undermine, educators’ skills, autonomy, and professional identity. Through collaborative research, real-life classroom studies, and close engagement with educators, EdTech experts, and policymakers, TAICo aims to shape a future where AI works with teachers, not around them, supporting high- quality, inclusive learning across Europe.
